Athletic Honors:
GLIAC All-Academic Team; Forest Hills Central High School Male Athlete of the Year
Why did you choose to attend Hillsdale College?:
I choose Hillsdale College because of how personable the coaches were and how excited they are about the program. The enthusiasm rubbed off on me and with the academic background Hillsdale has, it creates an incredible combination of both athletics and academics.
What is your extra-curricular involvement outside of athletics?:
I am a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and currently the treasurer. The Gordie Foundation is another organization that I contribute time to, serving as a Co-Vice President.
What do you like best about being an athlete at Hillsdale?:
The thing I like best about being an athlete at Hillsdale is being recognized on campus. As an athlete I feel a connection with the student body and enjoy representing Hillsdale College.
What is the key to succeeding in the classroom as well as on a team?:
The key to succeeding both in the classroom and on the field is time-management and having a positive attitude no matter the situation. When adversity is thrown in your face there is nothing you can do but fight through it to create something positive.
What has been the highlight of your athletic career here?:
The highlight of my career has definitely been playing in the NCAA playoffs last year in Minnesota and near my home town of Grand Rapids, when we played Grand Valley.
