Why did you choose to attend Hillsdale College?:
I chose to attend Hillsdale College because of its reputation as the finest academic institution in all of NCAA Division II. Hillsdale offered me the best chance to develop academically and spiritually, as well as providing me with the opportunity to compete in athletics at the college level.
What is your extra-curricular involvement outside of athletics?:
Outside of being a student-athlete, I am a member of Athletes in Action (AIA) and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
What do you like best about being an athlete at Hillsdale?:
I like the fact that each day I wear the Charger uniform, I am given the opportunity to represent such a distinguished institution. It is an honor to be associated with so many athletes that are not only the best on the field of competition, but also in the classroom. Being a college athlete is a privilege, and Charger athletes understand this.
What is the key to succeeding in the classroom as well as on a team?:
The key to succeeding in the classroom as well as on a team is recognizing that both go hand in hand. In order to reach the level of success that a Hillsdale student-athlete strives for, one must put in the necessary work both in the classroom and on the field. Embracing the task at hand and remaining committed to consistently pursuing your goals allows one to attain success.
What has been the highlight of your athletic career here?:
The highlight of my athletic career was the season-ending sweep of Tiffin in spring of 2010in which the Charger baseball team dominated the Tiffin Dragons to extend a season-high four-game winning streak.
