Favorite Historical Character: George Washington.  He is the perfect example of a simple man who became a virtuous leader because he took to heart the responsibility of moral, human and patriotic citizenship.  His accomplishments reflect a life dedicated to serving greater good before his own self interests.
 
Favorite Hillsdale Memory: The long but eventful car rides taken with friends to watch all the away Charger football games; traveling to Guatemala with fellow Hillsdale students to build with Habitat for Humanity; taking Western Heritage with Dr. John Willson; sitting on the Kappa porch with my best friends while just taking in the bustling campus community!
 
Words of Wisdom: To prospective students I advise choosing a college that will challenge you both academically and personally; the latter is often overlooked.  Choose a place where you can grow into the person you would like to become and can be proud to be.  Look for leadership and involvement opportunities in an atmosphere where you are inspired to rise to the challenge of pursuing truth, beauty and goodness.
