Extracurricular Involvement while at HC:  Kappa Kappa Gamma, Habitat for Humanity, IM athletics, debate, Tower Players (drama), and the Catholic Society.

Favorite Hobbies: Traveling, reading, tennis and volleyball.

Favorite Book and why:  I've recently finished Letters to a Young Catholic, which I enjoyed very much.  George Weigel invites his readers to rediscover the "habit of being," a concept foreign to today's youth.  I found his essays refreshing, insightful and encouraging. 

Favorite Hillsdale Memory:  I loved the excitement of returning to Hillsdale each fall, spending time with friends I hadn't seen all summer and embarking on a new semester.  Other favorite memories include traveling to Guatemala for a Habitat for Humanity International build and spending a glorious semester in Sevilla, Spain. 

Words of Wisdom to Prospects: First and foremost, I encourage you to visit campus!  Take one of your college days and spend it here: visiting classes, meeting current students and members of the faculty and staying overnight in a dorm.  A visit introduces you to the finest elements of a Hillsdale education: the classical core curriculum, the philosophy of the College and the dynamic campus community.  I advise you to choose a college that is committed to your intellectual, moral and spiritual growth.  If you seek that sort of education, look closely at Hillsdale College.  Here you will be encouraged in your pursuit of the Good, the True and the Beautiful, and the cultivation of a virtuous life.
