Montcalm Arnold Wager, ’30—He participated in five sports—baseball, basketball, tennis, football and track and field—and was awarded 18 varsity letters in basketball, tennis and baseball, a feat that may never be surpassed. He played minor league baseball with the Toledo Mud Hens organization.
Ann Gapa Robb, ’88—A distinguished athlete in both basketball and softball, Robb was named All-GLIAC First Team Pitcher four times, twice voted GLIAC Pitcher of the Year and, in 1988, was named NAIA District 23 Pitcher of the Year. In basketball, she holds records as fourth in all-time scoring and eighth in rebounds.
Paul Beachler—As head athletic trainer at Hillsdale College for 23 years, Beachler cared for and attended to nearly 10,000 athletes during his long career, exhibiting unconditional commitment and loyalty to Hillsdale’s student-athletes.
