Private and Charter School Tutoring
Hillsdale College
The community of Hillsdale is home to three fine private/charter schools: Hillsdale Preparatory School, Will Carleton Academy, and Hillsdale Academy. All three furnish Hillsdale College volunteers with opportunities to work alongside teachers in the classroom, providing an especially valuable experience to volunteers aspiring toward a future career in teaching at the elementary or secondary level. Opportunities are varied and may include: Latin teaching, physical education classes, tutoring elementary reading, lunch hour reading groups, or even AP biology coursework.
