The electronic journals listed in the index above are provided by the databases providers listed below. You can link to these sites and use their search engines to locate individual articles.
B. Finding Articles in Electronic Journals ![]()
1. Use the Subject Specific Databases to search by author, subject or title.
2. You can also find articles in electronic format by using the “limit to full text” function in OCLC First Search. First Search is a collection of over 60 databases in many disciplines.
1. Use the Main Library Catalog to search by author, subject or title. If the book is in electronic format, you will see a note which says the book is accessible through the World Wide Web. Clicking on this link will take you directly to the fulltext of the book.
2. You can also restrict your search so that you find ONLY electronic books by using the limit function in the Keyword search. Here is an example: a) click here to search by Keyword, b) type Hemingway in the Word box, c) choose “Electronic Book” from the Location box. Then click the Search button. This search will find ONLY electronic books on Hemingway.
3. You can also find electronic books by using the search engine provided by NetLibrary
