Group and Class Use Policy

• The Mossey Library building and facilities are to be utilized primarily for library research and library instruction.

• Groups, classes, or organizations wishing to use the Library’s resources may not do so without prior approval of a Mossey librarian or designated staff person.


• Groups needing library instruction or a library tour should make the request at the time they contact the Mossey Library to arrange for its use.


• Recurring meetings of groups, classes, or organizations are not permitted in the library. For example, a class that meets once a week is not permitted to meet every week in the Library. On occasion, an exception to this may be granted when a college related, academic, or scholarly activity appropriate for a room can be scheduled to meet there without causing significant disruption of the room’s primary purpose or the primary purpose of the library.
