Hillsdale College takes its message of academic excellence and institutional independence on the road through a number of off-campus seminars and programs.  Distinguished speakers of national renown share their views on timely topics at the National Leadership Seminars, the annual Churchill Dinner in Washington, D.C. and the Hillsdale College Cruises, in which guests travel in six-star luxury to sites of historic interest worldwide.  The Center for Teacher Excellence sponsors a number of seminars for teachers of civics, social studies and history in select cities each year in addition to its on-campus programs.  Freedom Forums, held in two or three cities each winter, bring in some of Hillsdale’s best professors to lecture on topics related to the sources of American liberty.  Hillsdale receptions, held nationwide, give friends of Hillsdale and prospective students a chance to meet President Larry Arnn and learn more about the College.  Prospective students can explore sites of historic and literary interest in Europe, led by Hillsdale professors, through the summer High School Study-Abroad Program.  All of these programs serve to bring the Hillsdale message of academic excellence and institutional independence to our friends and guests around the country.
