Freedom Forums, held three times a year in different parts of the country, are two-day intensive seminars taught by some of the best faculty Hillsdale College has to offer. Taking the theme "What is America?" and designed for a general audience, they consist of twelve, hour-long lectures—three each by members of Hillsdale's political science, history, English and economics departments. These lectures offer an introductory overview of the teaching that takes place at Hillsdale. Friends of the College and their children or grandchildren are welcome to attend. There is a minimal charge.
