The 2012 Free Market Forum was held in Houston, Texas, with the largest number of faculty and state policy attendees to date. One-hundred-fifty attendees gathered from 32 states and provinces in North America, as well as Puerto Rico and Lithuania. Several hundred friends of Hillsdale College also participated.
Reverend Robert Sirico of the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty was the opening speaker. Dr. Theodore Malloch of Yale University and economist Stuart Varney also addressed the audience.
