Hillsdale College offers numerous on-campus seminars and programs each year for every interest and every age.  Academic offerings, such as the Center for Constructive Alternatives (CCA), one of the largest college lecture series in America; the Free Market Program; the Visiting Fellows Program and the Executive Speakers Series, bring leading scholars and public figures to campus to address students and guests on varied topics each year.  Teachers can learn about Hillsdale’s traditional approach to civics education through the Center for Teacher Excellence seminars, while those in the business world can receive leadership training through the Dow Center’s Executive Education Programs.  Teenagers get a taste of college life through the Life and Liberty Summer Institute and Summer Science Camp, while senior citizens can take a vacation in the world of ideas at the summer Hillsdale Hostels.  The whole family can participate in Slayton Arboretum’s summer programs, with storytime and art offerings for youngsters and a variety of nature-related classes for adults each year.  Hillsdale College students, prospective students, guests and local residents benefit from the expertise shared by Hillsdale faculty, staff and invited speakers at on-campus seminars and programs.
