Nature Adventures

[Ages 7 - 12] Participants will use Slayton Arboretum as an outdoor laboratory for learning about science and nature. Dress to explore. Snacks provided.

Summer Day Camp

[Ages 8 - 12] Children spend time in the Arboretum playing games, doing crafts, learning and having fun! Each day, a guest artist will demonstrate how he or she makes artwork, and students will have the opportunity to create their own art sample. Supplies and snacks provided.

FEE: $25; $5 for additional family members

LOCATION: Slayton Arboretum

  • 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. noon each day
Nature Art in the Arboretum with Lorie Dickinson

[Ages 5 - 12] Students will learn a variety of artistic styles and use mixed media.  Each week, students will take a nature walk (so dress comfortably for walking) and do an art project using a different art form. Supplies and snacks provided. 

FEE: $5 per session
