Story Hour  (Ages 3-6)

Location: Children's Garden/Barber House

Fee: Optional donation

Your child can enjoy a magical hour of discovery, story and play. We will do a craft project and provide supplies and snacks. Bring your little ones to have fun by engaging them with nature and the outdoors.

 

Nature Adventures (Ages 7-12)

10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Location: Little Stone Lab in the Arb

Fee: Optional donation

Participants will use Slayton Arboretum as an outdoor laboratory to explore and discover hands-on anything to do with nature. A craft/activity and a snack will be included in each session. Dress for outdoor exploration.

Art and Nature Day Camp (Ages 8-12)

July 20-22
9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Location: Little Stone Lab in the Arb

Fee: $25 per family

"Being Green"—Children will spend time learning about nature, doing crafts, playing games, and having fun! Each activity will be related to using eco-friendly products. We will use eco-based supplies to educate and create. Don't miss this fun-filled three days! Supplies and snacks included.

 

Art with Lorie Dickinson (Ages 5-12)

Location: Little Stone Lab in the Arb

Fee: $5

Art Educator Lorie Dickinson will teach students a variety of artistic styles and how to use different media to create art. Each week, students will be guided on a nature walk and will use their observations to do an art project using different art forms. Supplies and snacks provided.
