Big Brothers Big Sisters at Hillsdale College involves outreach to the youth of Hillsdale County typically through the school-based ("lunch buddies") program.  Student "bigs" meet weekly with their "littles" to eat lunch together, play games, help with homework and just be a friend.  Hillsdale College students involved in this growing program not only find that their involvement enhances their collegiate career, but that their relationships with their littles grow into meaningful ones.  Frequent activities held in the community and on campus help supplement the one-on-one relationships.  Big Brothers Big Sisters offers professional support for each match and Hillsdale College can assist with transportation. Hillsdale College students are also instrumental in the success of the Annual Bowl for Kids' Sake Event held in the spring.
