One on One seeks to reflect the love of Jesus Christ by building stable, consistent relationships between community children and responsible, caring adults. The One on One relationships are formed by matching a mentor with a child whom the mentor gets to know through various activities. These activities can include playing games together, doing craft projects, playing sports and participating in Bible studies. The mentor also has the opportunity to teach the child important social skills and other skills needed for life. One on One plans and organizes special service projects in the community so that the desire to show the love of Jesus Christ to others becomes a part of the child’s life.
