Rugby Club

The Hillsdale College Rugby Football Club provides male students the opportunity to learn, play and compete in the game of rugby football as full members of the Michigan Rugby Football Union and USA Rugby. The group plays Rugby Union football with union-sanctioned referees during both the spring and fall semesters.

Practices are held on the Intramural Fields every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon. Matches typically take place on Saturdays or Sundays. The fall season begins with classes and runs until the end of October, while the spring season commences with snow clearing and operates until the conclusion of semester classes. Since its beginnings in 2007, Hillsdale RFC has been managed and coached entirely by students with the oversight of the Club Sports Director and its advisor.
