The Hillsdale College Equestrian Team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). Equestrian Club members learn about riding and compete against other IHSA recognized Universities and Colleges at a Regional, Zone, and National level. Members ride a variety of horses at the level for which they are qualified in the following disciplines: Huntseat Equitation, Huntseat Equitation over fences, Western Horsemanship, and Reining. This is a team sport, and members are expected to practice and compete professionally while supporting teammates and competitors with good sportsmanship.
