The Rho Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega began on the Hillsdale College campus on September 15, 1924.  Its purposes are friendship; high standards of personnel; sincere learning and creditable scholarship; participation in campus activities; career development and community service.  The Rho Gamma chapter has received top honors on the national Pan-Hellenic level and also boasts 22 consecutive Greek-Week victories.  Hillsdale’s Chi Omega chapter sponsors a blood drive each semester as well as fundraisers for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Chi Omega's national philanthropy.  Members of the Rho Gamma chapter also participate in numerous campus organizations, varsity sports and charitable activities such as Relay for Life, Adopt-a-Highway and Domestic Harmony.
