With few exceptions, all Hillsdale College students eat in the cafeteria. You may choose a 15- or 19-meal plan or one of our new flex meal plans, the Block 150 or 200. The cafeteria boasts an extensive selection of hot meals, a deli, various breads and cereals, make-your-own-waffles, salad bar, fresh fruits and vegetables, pizza, pasta and stir-fry dishes prepared "on-the-spot" and soft-serve ice cream! Vegetarian entrees are always available, and students with special dietary needs are also accommodated.

The College also operates A.J.'s Cafe 1844 in the Grewcock Student Union.  Many students come to the snack bar to study and satisfy those late-night munchies cravings. Even the most particular of eaters can find something to their liking in the cafeteria or cafe!  Jitters coffee cart, located in Lane Hall, is a great place to grab a meal on the go or a quick morning coffee with specialty coffee drinks, a wide assortment of teas, soft drinks, pastries, snacks, sandwiches and salads available from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
