President, Brendan Ringlever, '92

Brendan is a partner at Michigan Legislative Consultants (MLC), one of Michigan's oldest lobbying and political consulting firms.  MLC serves a wide array of clients, from the largest corporations to the smallest local grassroots efforts.

Brendan has over 12 years of experience in the Michigan Legislature.  He has held many top legislative posts, including Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for former Michigan Senate Majority Leader Ken Sikkema.  In these roles, he managed the Senate's legislative activity, developed the daily floor agenda for the Senate and served as liaison to the Governor's office, the Speaker's office and the lobby community.  While Deputy Chief of Staff, Brendan authored Vision for the Future, a document used as a guide to being a caucus leader and establishing a caucus agenda.  This document has been used by legislative leaders since 2003.

Brendan served as an appointed member of the Michigan Film Commission and is a past member of the MIchigan Children's Trust Fund Board.  He is a graduate of Hillsdale College and serves as President of the Hillsdale College Alumni Executive Board.  He enjoys running, golf and travel.  Brendan, his wife, Kim, and his son, Marcus, live in East Lansing.
