Michelle Mohn Baratta, '83
Michelle graduated from Hillsdale College in 1983 with a BA in Communication Arts with an English Minor. She spent the next 23 years in the lending and finance industries, 17 of which were spent at Flagstar Bank. While at Flagstar, Michelle served as the VP for several departments including the Construction Lending Division, Consumer Lending and Retail Development. In 2005, Michelle accepted relocation to Georgia to further build the Flagstar brand in the Southeast.
By 2006, Michelle left Flagstar and entered the reverse lending arena serving seniors' financial needs by educating the banking and broker communities on the benefits of this niche product. With the credit markets in continued decline, she made a life-changing decision to permanently exit the industry.
Today, she is involved in the anti-aging and age management industries, representing several companies under her brand and company's name, Life 180.
Michelle remains in the Atlanta area with her husband, Michael, a self-employed insurance wholesaler and their two children, Ashleigh, age 16 and Savannah, age 12 (their Southern belles from the North).
She belongs to several networking and social associations, is active in the PTA and is a Certified Senior Advisor. In her spare time, she enjoys golf, cribbage, belly dancing, and is taking up tennis.
