• Spring Parents Weekend: February 27 - March 1, 2009 

All parents and grandparents of Hillsdale College students are encouraged to attend.

Parents Weekends are unique opportunities during the fall and spring, where parents and families can visit campus and experience the atmosphere and activities of student life at Hillsdale.  Both spring and fall events follow the same schedule.  The invitations are mailed in September and February.  The weekends foster valuable interchanges among students, parents, faculty and administrators, thereby improving communication among the various members of the Hillsdale family.

Parent/Faculty conferences on Saturday morning are one of the highlights of Parents Weekend.  Here you will have the opportunity to meet with your student's professors to discuss academic progress.  Please note that it is very important to respond quickly when you receive your Parents Weekend information in the mail, as appointments with professors are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

On Friday night, the Parents Association sponsors a mixer for parents, faculty, staff and students.  This is a great time to meet and fellowship with one another.

On Saturday, you can enjoy a buffet luncheon.  Dr. Arnn, president of Hillsdale College, officially welcomes families to campus and gives an update on the school.

Saturday afternoon features an event that is appropriate to the season.  Evening entertainment - a play or concert - is available after dinner and sometimes on Sundays, too.  To reserve tickets for any performance, please call Ruth Demkowski at the Sage Center, (517) 607-2410.

Four days before Parents Weekend, the Parents Association Steering Committee will host a Parent-to-Parent Phonathon.  If you would like to participate, please volunteer.
