President’s Club members are over 2800 of Hillsdale’s most enthusiastic, dedicated and generous friends and partners.  They hail from all 50 states and include some of the nation’s leaders in business, education, politics and local communities.

Contributions from President’s Club members have funded buildings, endowed scholarships and professorships, provided for academic and outreach programs and, in general, maintained the scope and the quality of the Hillsdale liberal arts experience for thousands of deserving and qualified students–past, present and future.  President’s Club members secure the future of Hillsdale College.

Members may join The President’s Club at any of six commitment levels—Traditional, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Life.  Giving requirements for each of these levels are explained below.  Memberships are fluid; members may join at the Traditional level and, over time, increase their commitment to a higher level.  Memberships are offered based upon one’s pledged commitment to provide a particular level of support over a period of ten years.  Memberships are awarded at the time that a commitment is pledged.

Matching gifts from a member’s past or present employer fully apply toward meeting membership guidelines.

TRADITIONAL MEMBERSHIP 
Pledge of an annual gift of at least $1,500 or more for ten years; or
Making an outright gift of $15,000 in cash, securities or property; or
Establishment of a a planned gift with a minimum designation of $15,000 of the deductible gift portion to Hillsdale College; or
Establishment of an estate bequest of at least $15,000.

YOUNG ALUMNI MEMBERSHIP
The Young Alumni level is a sub-category of the Traditional membership level.  All Hillsdale Alumni under the age of 30 qualify.

Membership is met by pledging at the Tradtional level amount of $15,000.  A variable pledge completion date is determined by his or her age.  The pledge is completed at a rate of $750 per year until the member reaches age 30; the pledge is then completed at the normal rate of $1,500 per year.

BRONZE MEMBERSHIP 
Pledge of an annual gift of $2,500 a year or more for ten years; or
Making an outright gift of $25,000 in cash, securities or property; or
Establishment of a planned gift with a minimum designation of $25,000 of the deductible gift portion to Hillsdale College; or
Establishment of an estate bequest of at least $25,000.

SILVER MEMBERSHIP
Pledge of an annual gift of $5,000 or more for ten years; or
Making an outright gift of $50,000 in cash, securities or property; or
Establishment of a planned gift with a minimum designation of $50,000 of the deductible gift portion to Hillsdale College; or
Establishment of an estate bequest of at least $50,000.

GOLD MEMBERSHIP
Pledge of an annual gift of $10,000 or more for ten years; or
Making an outright gift of $100,000 in cash, securities or property; or
Establishment of a planned gift with a minimum designation of $100,000 of the deductible gift portion to Hillsdale College; or
Establishment of an estate bequest of at least $100,000.

PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP
Pledge of an annual gift of at least $50,000 or more for 10 years; or
Making an outright gift of $500,000 in cash, securities or property; or
Establishment of a planned gift with a minimum designation of $500,000 of the deductible gift portion to Hillsdale College; or
Establishment of an estate bequest of $500,000 or more.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Pledge of an annual gift of at least $100,000 or more for ten years; or
Making an outright gift of $1,000,000 in cash, securities or property; or
Establishment of a planned gift with a minimum designation of $1,000,000 of the deductible gift portion to Hillsdale College; or
Establishment of an estate bequest of $1,000,000 or more.
