Mauck Residence

Almost regal, certainly charming, and one of the College’s oldest residence halls.

Mauck Residence is home to nearly 50 women. Built in 1927, Mauck is named after Frances Ball Mauck, the wife of former College president Joseph William Mauck. The residence was built with money raised by the Women Commissioners. Inside the building, you will find an extensive lobby furnished in the style of the late 1920s. Beautiful tile work, tall, arched windows, and chandeliers can be found throughout. The building features fireplaces, a newly upgraded full-size kitchen on the main floor, and kitchenettes on other floors. Mauck has a variety of single and double occupancy rooms, some with suites and adjoining bathrooms, others with detached and community bathrooms.
