The north quad—the green, grassy area to the north of Central Hall

North and South Quad

North Quad

A gathering place at the center of campus.

The north quad—the green, grassy area to the north of Central Hall—is a place for students to gather, study, eat, play, or enjoy long-awaited UV rays after a cold winter. The north quad is surrounded by Central Hall, the Grewcock Student Union, the Dow Center, the Strosacker Science Center, and the breathtaking Christ Chapel. South Quad

Brick walkways, established trees, statues, and benches made up of memories.

The south quad, the area south of Central Hall, bustles with students and faculty alike, as the south quad is surrounded by classroom and administrative buildings such as Delp, Kendall, Lane, and Moss Halls. Established trees and shrubbery, red brick walkways, and benches are notable features of the quad. The quad is also decorated with the Liberty Bell, the Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln, and Douglass statues, and the Civil War Monument.
