Mabel W. Waterman Residence

An endearing and quaint Tudor-style residence for upperclassmen women.

Built in 1939 and named after Mabel Waterman, the building is home to 14 women with seven rooms and shared bathrooms on the east side of campus. Arched doorways, a front staircase, a cozy breakfast nook, comfortable couches, and the prayer/study room make the residence welcoming, which promotes the central heart of Waterman, modeled after 1 Peter 4:8-10, “Love fervently, offer hospitality, serve faithfully.” Waterman has maintained a community culture, and this is displayed daily and each year with their very own Waterman Tea to foster community among students.
