Services for Employers
Organizations are welcome to recruit Hillsdale students on-site or virtually at no charge and with great flexibility.
All graduate and professional schools are also welcome to recruit.
If you would like information on any of our services listed below, or would like to explore additional recruiting possibilities, please contact us directly.
Hillsdale College Career Services uses the Handshake platform for posting job, internship, fellowship, and graduate school opportunities. Building a profile helps you to connect with students, post jobs, conduct on-campus interviews, and much more.
We actively market all postings to our student and alumni registrants through targeted emails and announcements.
We list open positions through on Handshake on a year-round basis. Students and alumni apply directly to you in the manner you specify in the job posting. Listings will remain active for the length of time you choose.
Resume Referral Service
We manage resume referrals to provide you with a more targeted recruiting option, often with very quick deadlines. The process is simple: Tell us the specific type of candidate you’re seeking, and we will post the position, alert candidates who qualify, gather resumes, and forward them to you by your deadline date.
On-Campus Recruiting Sessions
You can schedule on-campus recruiting visits and information sessions during our fall and spring semesters to identify qualified candidates.
Professional Networking Experiences
Several times throughout the year, we bring small groups of students to major cities to meet with prospective employers and to gain a sense of living and working in that area.
We currently offer programs in Chicago, Grand Rapids, and Washington, D.C., but are open to new location possibilities.
Student Group Presentations
The various student-led academic and professional organizations on campus continuously seek speakers for their meetings and events. Please contact us if you are interested in presenting. These events give you the opportunity to develop a working relationship with an involved segment of our student body.
We reserve the right to exclude recruiting access to organizations. Typical reasons for exclusion include: requiring candidates to pay to be hired or offering unpaid internships at for-profit businesses. Such opportunities are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
