Mentor Career-Minded Students
Help current students develop the skills and gain the experience necessary to succeed in their future careers. The Career Services Office offers several programs designed to give interested alumni the opportunity to mentor students planning on pursuing careers in similar fields.
Recruit Prospective Students
Help Admissions recruit smart, talented, and promising new students by volunteering at Hillsdale College Admissions events in your area! You’ll have the opportunity to share your experience as a student and represent Hillsdale to the next generation of leaders.
Connect with Other Alumni
The Alumni Relations Office sponsors many events on campus and around the country. Volunteering to help run these events is a great way to meet other alumni and get involved in our outreach efforts.

Alumni Ambassador Program
In 2024 the Alumni Office re-launched its online peer-to-peer communication program called the Alumni Ambassador Program. There are currently more than 50 Ambassadors from 29 different graduation years.
Class Ambassadors and other designated group leaders will readily contact alumni and communicate with them via e-mail, phone calls, etc. Volunteers will have the ability to do things like:
- Promote an upcoming reunion.
- Raise support for a College project or a scholarship program.
- Share news about student or faculty accomplishments in an academic department.
- Inform alums of upcoming on-campus and regional events
- Circulate news and solicit feedback about College programs and initiatives.

The Hillsdale College Alumni Association has four active regional alumni chapters nationwide. Here are the locations:

Alumni Career Affinity Groups
The Alumni Office is eager to offer more help to our alumni who are in the middle of their careers! Alumni Career Affinity Groups celebrates alumni excellence, keeps you connected with other alums, and provides you with valuable content for your career. We have a quarterly email newsletter and group for our alumni who work in the following fields:
- Finance/Accounting
- Education
- Law
- Healthcare
