In front of an audience of approximately 200 guests, Athletic Hall of Fame inductees Robert Mallendick, ’66; Jason Stomps, ’10; and the 1988-1991 softball teams got to share their stories of challenge and strength in a very personal and passionate way.

There’s a chalkboard at the Writing Center that asks students, “Which one’s your favorite: the Iliad, the Odyssey, or the Aeneid?” Students mark their votes. Fighting words are thrown. The question is still up for debate. There’s no denying that Hillsdale students love their books.
