Hometown Hillsdale: Kelly Lantis, ’86 

The love for Hillsdale, Michigan, and Hillsdale College runs deep in the Lantis family. Kelly Stewart Lantis, ’86, proudly stated that 19 of her family members have attended the College, including her parents, her husband, and all four of her children. For 35 years, Kelly and her husband, Jeff, ’86, have happily called Hillsdale home.

“I fell in love listening to Dr. Spalding and Dr. Meehan talk about the good, and Shakespeare, and how everything relates back to modern political culture,” Strack said after attending the Statesmanship Weekend for prospective students at the Kirby Center in Washington, D.C. “I cried in the coat closet at the Kirby Center, called my mom and said, ‘Make the deposit. Hillsdale Action Shooting: The Making of a Powerhouse

Gregory Clement, ’23, says his Hillsdale Action Shooting experience was “overwhelmingly positive.” This spring, Hillsdale captured a national championship at the Scholastic Action Shooting Program’s Collegiate Nationals, hosted in Talladega, Alabama. The Chargers claimed first place in the Centerfire division and took second in the 1911 division.
