Science Fiction and Fantasy Club

Science Fiction and Fantasy allow people to explore various topics and dilemmas that might otherwise be made inaccessible by reality. Philosophical questions such as “What is it to be a person?” are regularly broached in books featuring robots, and the destructive nature of power, often cloaked under the guise of magic, is commonly dealt with in fantasy novels. Good and evil, and the extent of either and overlaps between the two are also common themes. Besides going boldly where no man has gone before, our continuing mission is to promote discussion of these philosophical questions among the Hillsdale community, as well as enjoying quality films.
