Hillsdale College

Mission

The mission of Catholic Society is to provide opportunities for Hillsdale College students to profoundly encounter Jesus Christ by means of the Sacraments, prayer, and community.

Catholic Society is a campus organization that seeks to support and enrich the spiritual lives of Catholic students at Hillsdale College.

About

Catholic Society offers several campus ministries, from daily mass and nightly rosary to small groups and spiritual direction. The parish of Saint Anthony’s also maintains an off-campus house called “The Grotto” where students can relax, study, enjoy meals and conversation together, participate in weekday mass and confession, and pray before the Blessed Sacrament in the house chapel.

Events

Catholic Society coordinates spiritual and social events including: rosary, on-campus mass, student Bible study, catechism study, retreat opportunities, volunteer activities, movie nights, annual speakers, professor presentations, and student-faculty potlucks.
