InterVarsity Ministries

Athletes InterVarsity

Athletes InterVarsity strives to encourage and strengthen Christian athletes to bring Christ to the field of competition. All-athlete Sunday large-group meetings, varsity team Bible studies, and annual conferences are notable efforts.

Greek InterVarsity

Greek InterVarsity is an inter-denominational campus ministry created specifically for fraternity and sorority members. Through annual Greek conferences, group meetings on campus, and Bible studies in fraternities and sororities, Greek InterVarsity seeks to make the relevance of Jesus Christ known throughout the Greek system.

Frontlines

Frontlines works to increase communication and like-mindedness among Bible study leaders in the dorms in order to promote unity among Christian believers and encourage one another to do their work with joy, because of their partnership in the Gospel (Phil. 1:5).

Hillsdale Spring Mission Trip

Instead of traveling to warmer destinations, a group of students stay behind in Hillsdale during Spring Break. They serve in and share the gospel with the Hillsdale community in a way that changes lives.
Prayer Ministry

In response to God’s calling and ultimately to bring glory to him, the mission of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is to see God’s people there united together as a loving, maturing witnessing community, and actively involved in being Christ’s witnesses to the whole campus so that others might come to know, love and follow Him as Lord. Within IV, Prayer Ministry exists to first, pray for the advancement of God’s kingdom at HC; second, support, encourage, refresh, and equip ministry leaders throughout our community; and third, help others to grow in prayer, unity, and intercession: cultivate a culture of missional prayer.

Soma

The Well exists to bring the body of Christ together in order to worship our Maker through song, fulfilling our innermost need to exist in a relationship with Him.  As Christians, we should long to praise our Savior, and The Well thus provides an opportunity for students and faculty to satisfy this desire.  Our mission is to praise and glorify our God and King by bringing the Christians on Hillsdale’s campus together to fuel, encourage, and strengthen them for their respective ministries.
