Health Services

College can be a time when various medical, psychological, emotional, academic, or relational concerns can arise. It is the hope of Hillsdale College Health Services to help students address these concerns before they negatively impact a student’s life and/or academic performance. Thus, we offer an array of services to help students if any issues are present. Our trained medical and counseling staff have extensive experience in treating many of the issues that develop in college and, if needed, can facilitate a referral to other facilities when a speciality is necessary.

All health records and discussions with the medical staff, counselor and other staff members are private and confidential.

The Ambler Health and Wellness Center has a registered nurse on duty during all operating hours. There is no charge for the nurse’s service and no charge for the administering of common medications.

A physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner is available daily. Walk-ins are welcome but students are encouraged to call ahead and schedule an appointment. A fee of $50 is charged for these appointments.
