Mission Statement
Music in the Community is dedicated to fostering the musical arts within Hillsdale, in order to meet the practical and creative needs of both the students and residents of the community.
About
Music in the Community provides the opportunity for students at the college to visit Drew’s Place, a nursing home in Hillsdale, each Sunday (and other weekdays) to sing and have fellowship with the residents. College students can also assist middle and high school age students in nearby schools through private instruction in music. In addition to these activities, we also visit the Hillsdale Hospital for music and fellowship with those on site.
