Mechanics

Physics 421-422

Dealing with both statics and dynamics, they are essentially Newtonian mechanics, but concepts necessary to relativity and quantum mechanics are included. Some topics covered are motion with viscous forces and applications of mathematics (i.e., vector analysis and differential equations) to the solution of physical problems.
