Join us for a Seminar and Shooting Camp at Hillsdale College. This innovative program combines self-defense topics and expert handgun and shotgun training with short lectures on the liberal arts, the U.S. Constitution, and free-market economics. All shooting activities will be held at Hillsdale College’s 105-acre John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center. Shooters of all experience levels are welcome. Training will progress from basic principles to more advanced applications.
Liberal arts lectures by Hillsdale College professors will be combined with self-defense and handgun training led by Sheila Hoekstra. Training topics include:
- Introduction to handgun function and operation
- Self-defense at home and away
- Comparison of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers
- How to select self-defense accessories
- An introduction to Clay Target shooting
