Students majoring in international business will become familiar with the foreign business terminology through special classes and understand the cultures through study-abroad opportunities or practical, on-site work. The preparation in two academic fields will ready students interested in world business, international administration, or public administration.

International Business Major
The major requires 63 hours, divided among the following:
- 40 credit hours of business classes
- 17 credit hours of one modern foreign language and culture above the 201 level (French, German or Spanish)
- Three hours of an elective in international studies
- Three hours in French/German/Spanish 460 or in an approved foreign study program. These three hours of internship or study abroad must be in addition to the 17-hour foreign language requirement.
