On Tuesday, April 4, David P. Goldman, Asia Times Online columnist and author of How Civilizations Die (And Why Islam is Dying Too), will deliver a lecture on “The Echo Chamber of the Mainstream Media” at Hillsdale College at 8 p.m. ET. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Goldman received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his Master’s in music education from the City University of New York. He also holds a doctoral degree in economics at the London School of Economics. He is the Wax Family Fellow at the Middle East Forum. Goldman is best known for his online essays in the Times under the pseudonym Spengler—an allusion to German historian Oswald Spengler who argued that Western civilization was dying.
