Hillsdale, Mich. – Hillsdale College congratulates alumna Cindy Cerquitella on her recent promotion to the position of Executive Director of America’s Future Foundation (AFF), one of the nation’s leading networks of “liberty-minded” emerging leaders and young professionals.

“We’re always encouraged to see Hillsdale graduates flourishing in their careers, and it’s milestones like this that demonstrate the excellence we strive to foster in our community,” said Ken Koopmans, executive director of career services at Hillsdale College. “We wish Cindy all the best as she takes on this new leadership role at America’s Future Foundation.”

Cerquitella moves into this position after more than 11 years at Atlas Network, where she worked in institute relations and later became manager of the Atlas Leadership Academy. There she developed and presented training resources for think-tanks and individuals interested in furthering the principles of liberty and freeenterprise.

“Through my most recent work with Atlas Network’s Leadership Academy, I got a taste of what it’s like to create something new,” Cerquitella said in a statement. “It’s inspired me to take my next step, taking over leadership of America’s Future Foundation, and to join the ranks of Atlas Network partners in achieving our shared vision of a free and prosperous society.”

Previously, she served as director of programs for AFF, which is one Atlas Network’s partner organizations, where she helped organize various social and educational events for young professionals in Washington, DC.

Cerquitella earned her bachelor’s degree in political economics from Hillsdale College in 2006 and later completed a certificate in facilitation from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.
