Hillsdale College Graduate Abraham Ourth Selected For Dunn Fellowship
Ourth will participate in yearlong internship for Illinois governor’s office
Hillsdale, Mich. – Hillsdale College congratulates recent graduate Abraham Ourth on being selected to participate in the Illinois Governor’s Office James H. Dunn, Jr. Memorial Fellowship.
“The Dunn Fellowship is a remarkable opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience in public policy and government work,” said Charles N. Steele, associate professor and Herman A. and Suzanne S. Dettwiler chair in economics. “Abraham has talent for original, outside-the-box, yet solidly grounded thinking. We’re proud to see Abraham putting his abilities and his Hillsdale education to work in public service and wish him the best as he steps into this new endeavor following graduation. He’ll do well.”
Hosted by the Governor’s Office of Illinois, the Dunn Fellowship each year awards high-achieving college graduates internships in a variety of state government roles like communications, legislative affairs, federal affairs, general counsel, public engagement, policy and more.
