Hillsdale College Hosts Final CCA Seminar of the 2017-18 Academic Year

Center for Constructive Alternatives explores director Billy Wilder’s life and legacy

From Sunday, March 18 through Thursday, March 22, Hillsdale College will host the final installment in its annual Center for Constructive Alternatives seminar series. The fourth CCA seminar of the 2017-18 school year will examine the life and work of writer, director and producer Billy Wilder. Attendees will hear lectures and debates from scholars and writers, and Hillsdale College faculty.

The Center for Constructive Alternatives sponsors one of the nation’s largest college lecture series, gathering students and visitors four times each year to hear from experts on diverse topics. Since the series began in 1972, more than 1,300 speakers have participated, including such prominent names as Ronald Reagan, Jeane J. Kirkpatrick, Steve Forbes and Stephen Ambrose.
