Hillsdale College Hosts Lecture from John Browne on Brexit and Its Future
On Tuesday, June 25, Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship will host a lecture from John Browne, partner at Frazier, Browne, and Mayer LLC and former British Parliament member, as part of the AWC Family Foundation lecture series. Browne’s lecture, “How to Think About Brexit,” will examine the build-up to the landmark legislation and what’s ahead for the United Kingdom.
The lecture is free and open to the media, but space is limited, and attendees are encouraged to register by visiting the event’s ticketing site here.

WHO
John Browne is a partner in Florida financial data firm Frazier, Browne, and Mayer LLC. He served as a Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Winchester from 1979 to 1992 and served as vice president of the UK Independence Party, which pushed Brexit to victory in June 2016. Browne is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the Canfield Institute of Technology, and Harvard University. He retired as a major from the Grenadier Guards, where he served as a pilot and parachutist. He also was responsible for the pallbearers at the state funeral of Sir Winston Churchill. Browne has previously worked at Morgan Stanley and the European Banking Company, where he became director of Middle East Operations. He is also the author of two books, Hidden Account of the Romanovs and Grenadier Grins.
