Hillsdale College Hosts Lecture on the Future of the American Family by Allan C. Carlson

On Thursday, November 2, Hillsdale College’s department of history, along with the campus chapters of Students for Life and Catholic Society will host a lecture from Allan C. Carlson, John A. Howard Distinguished Fellow for Family and Religious Studies at the International Organization for the Family. Carlson’s lecture, titled “On the Amazingly Bright Future of the American Family: An Historical Consideration,” will draw on his experience as a scholar of religion, family and society.

The lecture is free and open to media.

WHO

Allan C. Carlson is the John A. Howard Distinguished Fellow for Family and Religious Studies at the International Organization for the Family where he is also the editor of The Natural Family: An International Journal of Research and Policy. Carlson, author of fourteen books, is the former president of the Howard Center for Family, Religion, and Society.
