The College ranks 46th among USN’s 2022 top liberal arts colleges

Hillsdale, Mich. — U.S. News & World Report (USN) announced its 2022 top college rankings on Sept. 13, and Hillsdale College was named 46th among National Liberal Arts Colleges.

“Hillsdale College works tirelessly to provide a truly excellent, classical liberal arts education,” said Christopher VanOrman, Hillsdale College provost. “It is nice to see the College and its faculty recognized for such hard work.”

Among all American colleges and universities, Hillsdale was ranked #14 for Most Students Receiving Merit Aid. Among American liberal arts colleges and universities, Hillsdale was ranked #18 for Freshman Retention.

USN gathered information from nearly 2,000 colleges and universities for its survey of undergraduate programs.
