The Chargers swept Division III in all three main events (Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays), leading to a High Overall championship by a margin of over 70 targets. The team shot the fifth-total highest score at the competition.

Senior Lucas Pieraccini, junior Barrett Moore, and sophomore Anthony LaMacchia tied for the highest score on the team with a score of 551/600. Freshman Brad Lehman scored 548/600. In individual events, freshman Woodrow Glazer won first place in Trap with 198/200, freshman Ida Brown finished fourth in Ladies Trap with 193/200, and Pieraccini placed fifth in Skeet with 198/200. Pieraccini, Brown, Glazer, and sophomore Thomas Rodgers all shot perfect 100/100 at some point in the competition.

“The team received high scores in all events,” said head coach Jordan Hintz. “This was our most important meet of the fall, and everyone performed well. We look forward to keeping the momentum going.”

The team’s next competition is November 14-17 at the ACUI Eastern Super Shoot in Nashville, TN. The team will then begin preparing for the ACUI National Championships, to be held in March 2020.
