Hillsdale College’s Kirby Center Hosts Lecture From Historian And Author Thomas Conner

Hillsdale American history scholar will explore themes from his new book ‘War and Remembrance’

On Tuesday, October 9, Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship will host a lecture by Hillsdale professor of history Thomas H. Conner on his new book War and Remembrance: The Story of the American Battle Monuments Commission. He will discuss the themes he explores in the book, including the important but unrecognized work of the ABMC to memorialize our nation’s war dead around the world and the organization’s impact on how we continue to honor the memory of American heroes.

The lecture is free and open to the media, but space is limited and attendees are encouraged to register by visiting the event’s ticketing site here.
