Hillsdale College’s Visiting Writers Program Welcomes Linda Gregerson
Two-night event will feature a reading and lecture from award-winning poet
On Tuesday, March 19, and Wednesday, March 20, Hillsdale College’s English Department will host poet and University of Michigan professor of English Linda Gregerson. This two-night event, part of the Visiting Writers Program for the English Department, will feature a reading of Gregerson’s work on Tuesday followed by a lecture on Wednesday titled “Milton and the Syntax of Faith.”
The reading and lecture are free and open to the media, but space is limited. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by contacting [email protected].

WHO: Linda Gregerson is the Caroline Walker Bynum Distinguished University Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan and an award-winning poet. Gregerson’s poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, The Best American Poetry, Granta, The Paris Review, and many other journals and anthologies. She has authored several critical works and books and won the Kinglsey Tufts Poetry Award and an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature.
