February 2, 2016 – Hillsdale, MI

As of the January 2016 issue, the circulation of Hillsdale College’s free monthly speech digest, Imprimis, exceeds three million subscribers – now reaching as many people as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, according to recent weekday print circulation data.

“For almost 45 years now, our college has offered Imprimis free of charge as an extension of our educational efforts on behalf of liberty,” said Hillsdale President Larry P. Arnn. “These efforts are even more vital today than when Imprimis was launched in 1972.”

Imprimis publishes speeches delivered at Hillsdale events by leading scholars, journalists, politicians, businessmen and others, in promotion of individual rights, limited government, free enterprise, personal responsibility and strong national defense. Past contributors include Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Milton Friedman, Russell Kirk, and Harry V. Jaffa. More recent contributors include Clarence Thomas, Vaclav Klaus, Sen. Tom Cotton, David McCullough, Walter Williams, and Bernard Lewis.

Those who wish to subscribe to Imprimis may do so at imprimis.hillsdale.edu.
