HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour, Hillsdale College’s national radio show and podcast, now has surpassed two million downloads since its launch in February 2019. After taking two years to reach one million downloads, it took The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour less than one year to surpass the two million mark.

Each show is one-hour long and features multiple guests, including Hillsdale faculty members, College campus speakers, noted writers, thinkers, and alumni. Topics include anything from the politics of the day to discussions of literature to the science behind brewing beer.

“We are so pleased the program continues to see sustained growth, with more than 30 radio stations airing the show,” said Scot Bertram, host of The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour and lecturer in journalism at Hillsdale College. “We’ve also nearly doubled the program’s download numbers over the past twelve months. These interviews are a great way to share the ideas discussed here at Hillsdale College.”

Radio stations that have recently added the program to their weekend lineup include WTTB-AM 1490/105.7 FM in Vero Beach (Fla.), WKAN-AM 1320 in Kankakee (Ill.), KRNH-FM (HD2) 104.3 FM/102.1 FM in Kerrville (Texas), and KXBR-FM 91.9 FM in International Falls (Minn.). The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour is available on a market-exclusive basis at no cost and with no barter required.
